Beide schweizer Teams bereit für den Spaceport America Cup

Das Team der HSLU und der ETH haben bei der ARGOS im Feb. und März ihre Raketen getestet, nun sind die Studenten in New Mexico, hierzu der Artikel in 20 minuten: Schweizer Rakete schiesst in den Himmel.

Direkt aus den USA: "In den letzten Tagen haben wir in den USA die abschliessenden Vorbereitungen für den Raketenstart getroffen. Am Donnerstag  kommt eine spannende und intensive Zeit für die Mitglieder von Projekt Tell zu einem vorläufigen Höhepunkt, dem lang ersehnten Launch !

EPFL Rocket Team, Project Matterhorn:

Mail vom Team, 19.06.2018: The first official day of the competition took place at the Las Cruces convention center. The goal of the day was to present the project to the judges, present the reefed parachute during a special podium session, see what the other teams are up to and meet with recruiters from the main US aerospace companies. Emilien and Guilain did a great job presenting at the podium session and we managed to validate the flight safety review (FSR), a live check from the judges assessing of the rocket’s safety. The FSR is the first step to launching the rocket. It's a great achievement for the team today because it shows our work is paying off and members were well drilled to answer to the judges questions. 

Tomorrow we assemble the rocket in the desert and have the judges review it in order to get clearance for take off. The launch is still scheduled to Thursday morning the 21st of June, so stay tuned. Mehr Bilder auf Facebook.
