Dear rocketeers
Last Saturday, we held the ARGOS General Assembly in Dietikon and prepared our equipment for the 2026 season.
An important topic was the availability of motors following the delivery problems in 2025.
Jürg is in the process of setting up the ordering process with Aerotech again. Aerotech has been sold to Karman Aerospace and the processes are changing.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly and that we have enough motors for the 2026 flying days, Jürg will place a new order before Christmas.
Engines in calibers up to 38 mm will be ordered in advance as before, but availability will be more difficult to guarantee than usual.
For larger engines (54 mm and above), it now makes sense to pre-order. Stock levels are being reduced and delivery times remain long.
For several years now, there has been a lot of bureaucracy at the US government level regarding Class M engines. There is still some stock available, especially 98 mm propellants, but the delivery time will be around 6 months.
When ordering M motors, due to regulations, you must specify whether or not they are to be flown in the presence of Jürg.
In principle, we also recommend pre-ordering frequently used smaller motors, as far as you can estimate this.
We therefore ask you to send an order for the motors you expect to need in 2026 (especially 54 mm and larger) to Spacetec (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by December 20, 2025, at the latest.
You will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt in the form of a 50% advance invoice, as well as a copy of the payment confirmation from Aerotech as soon as it has been received.
Spacetec must pay 50% upon order, hence this invoice on account.
Thank you very much for your support in procuring the motors for the new season.
Best regards and have a wonderful Advent season,
Ramon, Thomas, Fritz, Jürg
